Snappers are bold, fast-growing saltwater fish known for their strong bodies, alert behavior, and predatory nature. In the wild, they inhabit reefs, rocky structures, and open water, where they actively hunt smaller fish and invertebrates.
In aquariums, snappers are best suited for large, aggressive or predator systems. They require ample swimming space, strong filtration, and stable water quality. Snappers are intelligent and quickly learn feeding routines, often becoming very interactive with their keeper.
