Notes: Much like the Blue Leg Hermit it is known to eat detritus, aquarium food, decomposing material and various forms of algae including filamentous (hair algae), diatoms, and cyanobacteria. Sifts through the top layer of sand in the aquarium. While considered to be reef safe it is advised with caution as it may nip at coral. It may also attack and kill snails for it shells.
